Barcelona is the busiest city in Catalonia and the second-largest city in Spain. Seen as a global city of culture, entertainment and fashion, recent increases in trade, tourism and construction has placed it on the world’s stage.
Barcelona is on a plateau on the north east of the Iberian Peninsula, south of the Pyrenees and Catalonian border with France. Sant Sebastià sees nudists bathers and surfers flock to enjoy the sand and the sun, naturally, while Barceloneta is one of the oldest and largest beaches that has long played a part in the city’s history.
